I am collaborating with ONEST Network, a globally free streaming network as a fashion expert to show viewers worldwide that fashion is accessible to everyone—regardless of their socioeconomic status.”
As an actress who has worked on various film projects. Eve Richards recently worked as an actress on a project titled, Love the Wrong Way, portraying a character who is a CEO, and the mother of a son in his early 20’s. Richards describes her character “as a powerful woman who doesn’t believe that his girlfriend is ‘good enough’ for her son.” Richards discussed that this is based on a true story, and the film is a “powerful and an impactful one,” as well as a “fun project to work on because of the cast and the director.”
When asked about her motivation and where she finds her inspiration, Richard discussed her favorite “life lesson.” It’s that ‘true beauty comes from within.’ I realized through my years of experience in life and work, that the outside appearance is just superficial. Every one of us has insecurities. This aforementioned life quote reminds me that I should continue nurturing and developing my inner beauty, because when we are good to others, kind and sincere in our actions, we become more confident and we feel good about ourselves. That beauty shines through. This makes it possible for us to be happy about ourselves and for the success of others, especially those who are struggling to find happiness in their lives. We can always be a light.”
Richards attributes her success professionally and in life to her mom and dad, stating, “I truly believe that it would have been near impossible for me to succeed to the extent I am without the help of my mom and dad. Unfortunately, they both passed away (my dad very recently), so it has been extremely difficult not having them around.
Stating, “I always give thanks to my mother who has inspired me and has supported me throughout my ups and downs. She also never doubted I could succeed. She truly was and will always be, the wings beneath my wings.” She was a judge by profession, yet Eve Richards describes her mother as “down to earth, and one who loved giving back to her community.” “My brother Ntang and l were her pride and joy. She and my dad were good role models, they worked very hard. And they both accomplished all of their professional dreams before departing this earth.” Concluding, “my father’s strict discipline has helped me become a better person, starting from a very young age. Even though he wanted me to become a lawyer, he still supported me because he knew working as an actress and as an empowering fashionista is what would make me happy and fulfilled. He also gave great advice whenever I needed it. He was my rock and shoulder to lean on when I felt too tired to continue.”
When asked who she would love to work with on a forthcoming production, at some point in the future, Richards concluded, “There are so many actors that l admire, to name a few, Leonardo DiCaprio, Meryl Streep, Tom Hanks, Brad Pitt, Will Smith, Anthony Hopkins, Frances McDormand. As far as Directors, l would like to work on Joel Cohen, Steven Spielberg,Martin Scorsese, Quentin Tarantino, Ridley Scott, Francis Ford Coppola, Christopher Nolan films. Stating, “Also,
